Adding 25 grams of soy protein to your diet every day can help lower your cholesterol.

Here’s how much protein you’ll get from some common soy foods:

  • 1/4 cup of dry-roasted soy nuts - 16 grams

  • 1 cup of soymilk - 8 grams

  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce - 1 gram

  • 1 cup of edamame (steamed soybeans) - 17 grams

  • 3 ounces of tofu - 7 grams
